Build a Team for a Stable Financial Future

Why do you need a team? It seems that everywhere you look successful people are surrounded by a network of similarly minded (and similarly successful) people. Is there some big secret to their ability to perform at a higher level? Not really, but what they did correctly was to join with others that compliment their needs. To be successful in your own endeavors, no matter what they are, you need to have a team approach.

Let's examine the definition of "team". Team as defined by wikipedia is: a group of people linked in a common purpose. Human teams are especially appropriate for conducting tasks that are high in complexity and have many interdependent subtasks. A group does not necessarily constitute a team however. Teams normally have members with complementary skills and generate synergy through a coordinated effort which allows each member to maximize their strengths and minimize their weaknesses. Team members need to learn how to help one another, help other team members realize their true potential, and create an environment that allows everyone to go beyond his or her limitations. A team becomes more than just a collection of people when a strong sense of mutual commitment creates synergy, thus generating performance greater than the sum of the performance of its individual members.

Your financial team is critical to your financial success. Coaches can help you to understand if you are preparing for your future in the right way financially and emotionally, Attorneys know the law; Accountants know taxes and the implications they have. All of these "team members" are critical in the preparation of a fair and equitable divorce settlement that will give you security and comfort not only today but for the years to come. It is critical that you consult, and include, ALL parties to ensure the decisions of today will lead to success for years to come.

This is YOUR future, arm yourself with the right network of partners that will put you back in control. Be aware of your strengths and weaknesses and fill in the blanks as needed. Rely on the expertise of people like me so that you correctly identify and access the people who will contribute to your success. Remember, the team you assemble needs to work for YOU and on your timeline, YOU are the priority.
